Annelise and I became friends having been in both a religion class and Drama during High School. We reconnected as adults who had both left the the religion we were raised in. Ronda and I met online and built a friendship. Our kids were both being homeschooled, when Ronda got a job and needed support. Nia came and hung out with Rory and I a couple of times a week. Ronda shares how my kid's swearing and my non-reaction helped her move into lighter parenting. We talk about the power of words and how they are also just words.

Frienships show up in our lives when we need them. Ronda felt I was a gift to her life, and I share with her how important that friendship was for me as well as I was navigating my panic disorder at the time.
